My mother had a stroke about 6 months ago. As power of attorney for my mother's property and health, I knew I had a challenge ahead of me with her living in Toronto and me being in Boston. Since that first phone call, I feel I have had Nana as my own personal guardian angel to help me through my mother's affairs. The biggest surprise is when Nana informed me that Deborah Wood advised my mother to take out long term care insurance after my father passed in 2000. She facilitated the process of filing the claim, working with me, the rehab facility and the insurance carrier. What a tremendous help! Now my mother is living in a long term care facility and the claim is in the final stages of processing.
